Brovary Aluminium plant took part in the project «Україна без сміття»

Brovary Aluminium plant took part in the filming of commercials about why recycle and sort the garbage. The project was implemented by members of the movement “Україна без сміття” and the foundation of Coca-Cola Ukraine Limited. In order to stop Ukraine’s transformation into one large landfill, participants eco-activists filmed a series of videos telling how to properly sort waste and also showed what new products can be obtained through recycling.

According to the authors of the project, one of the reasons why people do not sort waste is the stereotype that there are no processing plants in Ukraine.
But it is not.

Therefore, 14 years old schoolchildren Sofia-Kristina Borisyuk and Nikita Shulga tell how to make a book from yoghurt packaging or asphalt from juice boxes. Three years ago, they launched their own environmental initiative “KOMPOL” and became nominees for international awards, but now they have visited processing plants and tell how everything works.
