BRAZ launched new press lines

The 2017th year the Brovary aluminum plant began with an updated extrusion production, launching new presses. To the four already working press lines added two more with a total capacity of 2 thousand tons. The press with a power of 1,1 thousand tons works with cylindrical columns that have diameter of 127 mm and a maximum length of the workpiece of 600 mm. The second press with a power of 2 thousand tons is destined for work with cylindrical poles in diameter of 178 mm and blanks with a length of 900 mm. New aggregates are so exact that they produce a profile weighing from 90 grams to 30 kg. Presses work in automatic mode. The extrusion speed is fluently adjusted on the control panel by means of the preset parameters. At the end of the first quarter of this year we will replace the attachments of 4 presses - new input and output lines, laser sensors and additional cooling will be installed to measure the temperature at matrix and ingot.
